Making climate and biodiversity models accessibile

QRIScloud helps Dr Jeremy VanDerWal make climate and biodiversity models accessible. 

Dr Jeremy VanDerWal at James Cook University’s Centre for Tropical Biodiversity and Climate Change, creates models to study how climate change will affect bird and animal populations in Australia and around the world.

QRIScloud has helped him make these interactive models available to researchers globally, to conservation managers and decision makers, and to the general public.

Data Ingestion Support

Help getting your data onto QRIScloud data ingest support services is available. QRIScloud operates a dedicated ingest service nicknamed "Hoover" that allows support staff to rapidly ingest data on a range of USB accessible media. If you would like to use the Hoover service, please request support here.

The Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network (TERN) connects ecosystem scientists and enables them to collect, contribute, store, share and integrate data across disciplines. Collectively this increases the capacity of the Australian ecosystem science community to advance science and contribute to effective management and sustainable use of our ecosystems.
